In the vast majority of civilian circumstances, firing a blank will cover it.

In the few remaining, it will not take 1 to 5 rounds to get the hell away.

Can't imagine anything which would take more. These suckers aren't all that accurate at distance, and no one has to shoot if there is that much distance. "They" aren't going to be accurate, either, and God knows what might be hit.

Carrying more than 8 rounds in your basic civilian situation is just weight.

Now, if I were a pilot over enemy territory, I'd want as much as I could get. Same if I were a civilian in the jungle, for instance, with badguys around.

But for your basic "everyday", "average" situation, in my opinion the bigger mags are just a waste. Except they make John Q. Littledink feel powerful. And then he's going to get into trouble.
