For scale, when looking at the pictures, remember that Endurance is 130m across
For some scale of the Endurance crater, it is about 130 meters across. Compare this to a football field, which is approximately 100 meters long.
Over at Spirit, when Spirit reaches Columbia Hills the I get the feeling that they are not going to be as tall as I pictured.
I have a hard time with scale. When the first pictures came back inside Eagle crater, I thought the sides of the crater were far off and tall. They were just a few meters away and a meter or so off the floor of the crater.
