Is Opportunity at Endurance yet?
Wondered if anyone in here had an inside track on the rovers and knew if Opportunity had made it to the lip of Endurance Crater yet. The latest accounts from JPL websites indicate that today (Sol 95) the final trip should be being made. I'm concerned, with the slowness JPL has shown in getting their raw pictures out recently, that it'll be days before we see the first views down into the crater.
Also, it appears that the Pancam images are zoomed in compared to the Navcam images I'm seeing from the Spirit rover. The Columbia Hills in the Pancam images look like the craft is nearly there and then you see the Navcam images and they appear to be miles away.
