Tom,
The more obvious political statement is that action by the Sinclair Broadcast Group to censor to Koppel broadcast.
Now for the record...I support the troops and I WANT them to WIN. But the Bush administation is too incompetent to allow that to happen. They've sent our soldiers into conflict without adequate troops, equipment and planning. They refuse to recognize the political value of a truly internation reconstruction effort. They are bound to fail. In the meantime, our troops keep dying.
This war in Iraq was utterly reckless and unnecessary. Mr. Bush is to blame for the deaths of over 700 American service men and women there. I do not trust this administration to WIN. They have proven their incompetence. Time to let someone else at the helm to fix what they've broken.
To be blunt, I believe Mr. Bush deserves to be in prison. I believe he is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors committed against the American people. Its people like those at Sinclair that want to cover this tragedy up.
