The plan you mention
is not Barak's but Sharon's. Barak didn't include the unilateral separation part. The wall is Sharon's baby. It's not surprising Lukid voters rejected the Gaza withdrawl as they are the more hard line and religious voters. The general Israeli population supports the Gaza withdrawl by a comfortable margin and it WILL HAPPEN along with withdral from most of the West Bank. The palestinians will get their nation by default in a year or two, not due to any good will on their part though.
