There are a number of Arab organizations, and even some Arab nations, trying to kill us. They declared so long before Bush was elected, and long before we invaded either Afghanistan or Iraq. Nobody imagined this. It is also a fact that there is a severe shortage of Arab nations that are not tyrannies. This does not mean that all Arabs are trying to kill us, or that an Arab democracy is impossible. But these are facts.

Good grief, Syria probably has the largest current stockpile of WMD in the entire Middle East, and somehow the fact that it has occupied Lebanon for years appears to bother no one at all.
