Going uphill

Assuming this is a recent shot, the current press release says that Spirit ended its drive going up a small hill, and stopped when it started getting worried about it.

I'm guessing that maybe this odd wheel movement reflects Spirit doing something to accommodate the hill, or reflecting the "worry" about the hill as it proceeded. Anyone else have ideas in this area?
