Reminds me of a joke.
Tim Conway, Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman. Tim is explaining what happened when he was in the South Sea Islands, surrounded by sharks, sailboat sinking, island 200 yards away.
Says his girlfriend decided to go for it, to swim. Tim tried to stop her, but she was determined.
She dived in, and struck out. Tim said she was ahead of them for a while, doing a great job, almost there, and then - - - - !
Hangs his head, tear in his eye. Raises it, looks plaintively at Carol, and says,
"She might have made it, too, if she hadn't worn her lucky ham around her neck."
