A ridge or scarp?
If this were Earth, that would be a recent fault plane, bounding the uplifted hills.
The anthill "could" be a section of scarp that runs up what used to be a foothill.
I can't quite make the correlation to the overhead shot. maybe if I spend a bit more time on it I'll get them to click together. Nonetheless, there are a series of scarps or ridges near the base of the hills, in some areas.
