You seem to have a warm compassionate streak yet you are limited to a very narrow understanding of world wide events. You can't see past your own door.
I knew you were making a point about the ambulance drivers, and I can SEE where and how they were being used against us. Well, they have no tanks, no air power, no cavalry, so they're doing what they know best....how to fight back with a limited arsenal. If you were in their shoes, you'd be doing the same.
>"Why are we anguishing over the actions of a few? What matters to us?"
I am anguishing over the actions of a few, those in this administration who pulled our country and it's soldiers into an unwinnable war with an "enemy" who was no real threat to us. It wasn't for "WMD's", it wasn't for "removing a tyrant", it wan't for bringing "democracy" to the Middle East. (Remember when the Christians were going to run in with their bibles??) It was all for naught.
And none of you conservatives here will admit to that, will admit the PREMISE was wrong, that the IDEA is still wrong, and that George Bush and the neocons he plans with, are ALL WRONG!
And you avoided my real questions with an explanation of the ambulance shootings. Then there's this:
>"The problem I see with thinking is the lack of it. People like you and Bowser, who eat at the same bowl of negativity, seem to see only one side of the story and don't bother to look further."
Look further at what??
The futility of this war?
The lack of planning?
The cost in lives and American taxpayer dollars??
If I have to explain what is wrong with your thinking, then you are lost on me.
They are having to close the best trauma centers (hospitals) in this nation for lack of funds. Cost to keep them open=1 billion dollars a year. And that's for starters. Would you like me to find better examples of how our hard-earned money could be spent, or are you sure we can still win this war?
