re: Judgements

I truly doubt that Americans don't care or understand what's occurring around the world. I think the US actions are in the best interest for the world and it's high time someone did something about it. After all the end all pursuit of humanity is peace, freedom and living together without prejudice all over the world. What are we waiting for? More innocent people to die while entertaining deaf ears?

The problem is some countries are to busy sucking up to countries with corrupt dictators from greed instead of in your face no you shouldn't build those reactors, missiles and no you shouldn't burn all those books and no people should be free and live the way they chose. The UN is a perfect example.

Libya is a good example of; Whoa, I think they mean business.

And since you are fancy on Jefferson quotes;

"I have ever deemed it fundamental for the United States never to take active part in the quarrels of Europe. Their political interests are entirely distinct from ours. Their mutual jealousies, their balance of power, their complicated alliances, their forms and principles of government, are all foreign to us. They are nations of eternal war. All their energies are expended in the destruction of the labor, property and lives of their people." --Thomas Jefferson to James Monroe, 1823. ME: 15:436
"Commerce with all nations, alliance with none, should be our motto." --Thomas Jefferson to Thomas Lomax, 1799. ME 10:124

Sure glad we don't follow all legacy's.
