If we had real freedom, with no meddling gov regulation, businesses that sold deadly products would suffer in the free market, lose their customers, and eventually go broke. Free enterprise would weed out the bad guys and we wouldn't have to inconvenience our heroic entrepreneurs.
A few dead consumers every now and then would be a very small price to pay for liberty.
