How anyone can see a "right" side in this mess is way, way beyond me. The individual acts perpetrated by each side are so heinous as to defy adequate expression of outrage. They are indistinguishibly criminal on both sides.
And somehow it seems hopelessly naive to believe that one side is morally superior to the other, with one exception.
One side is fighting ethnic cleansing against an opponent with nukes, WMDs, armor, air and artillery. They are trying to remain in their ancestral homeland.
The other side is practicing ethnic cleansing and taking over by force that ancestral homeland. And acknowledges that, by the way, justifying it by claiming the Old Testament has told them to do it.
Excusing ethnic cleansing is for others. Not me.
