Other than wanting more international involvement (read UN) Kerry has been very vague on what he would do.
OTOH, the current admin doesn't appear to have a plan either.
Couldn't figure out how to transition sovereignity to Iraq so handed it off to the UN envoy.
Now apparently, Ebrahimi wants out coz the situation is a mess.

If anybody has an inkling of how the current admin is proposing to fix what is wrong, please clue me in.....
