I think we gotta do it. Not for them, but for us.
We owe it to ourselves to spend comparatively little to sway the opinions of at least a few folks who are "on the cusp". They may not be in the Arab world, but around the world.
The mistake would be to expect everyone to love the US because it spread a few bucks around after this.
That won't happen.
