Got it! First clear night in a week. 9:30 pm local (0330 UT), in my 7x50s, here in the Land of Skyglow.
Still below (southwest of) the Beehive, which was in the same field of view at the comet... The only star chart I have is CyberSky, which doesn't show Theta Cancri, but I'm guessing NEAT had passed it between your obs' and mine, Raoul.
Nothing so dramatic as Hale-Bopp, of course - just a "harmless fuzzball", as Tom might say :-)
