I think that almost nothing reveals the complete lack of principles and integrity on the part of the Democratic Party better than this flap.

McCain has said that he would not do it. Under any circumstances. Does this discourage the Democrats? Does it even faze them? No.

"He's lying, right? He'll turn around and do it anyway. Hell, we would. In a second. What difference does it make what he says or promises? Integrity? Screw it."

All McCain would have to do is drop a few core principles.

"Easy, right? We do that all the time. Remember Leiberman? Anti-abortion? No problem. Principles? Screw 'em"

McCain would have to turn on his own political party and stab it in the back.

"You see a problem there? We don't. Hey, Jeffords did it. Loyalty? Screw it."

They don't care what party McCain is from. They don't care what he says, or thinks, or what his beliefs are. It appears that he would help them win the election, and obviously there is nothing on Earth that is more important to the Democratic leadership than winning the election. Everything else is "flexible."

When you vote Democrat, are you really voting for anything at all other than "keep Democrats in power?"
