Excellent post R.L.

(Confession) I have been guilty of putting party first. Lately, I have been trying not to do that. I have been finding my way back to the middle.

(Rant, sorry) Like with the WMD issue. I like President Bush and I know that if no WMD were ever found in Iraq, it would hurt him politically. But I would rather that be the case than the stuff actually existing. I would rather see him fall and it be confirmed that WMD were not recently made in Iraq and that none exist there now.

(More ranting) Hopefully, this latest find is just an old shell leftover from Saddam’s old WMD program. Hopefully that is it, but both Republicans and Democrats need to set aside party interest and seek out the truth in this. The truth could hurt either side, depending on the out come, but so be it. The free world need to know for certain if that shell is all there is. And if it is not, then we need to know where the rest of it is.

Forget party politics, we need to know the truth about what is going on. And if that truth hurts the party I usually associate with, then so be it, but we need to know. (That's it, I am off my soapbox)

(Reflection) It is interesting that the radical left and radical right have more in common than they have different. It is like a circle. You have the moderates and then the left and right shoot off from that point. In the back of the circle, on the opposite side of the moderate, the radical left and radical right join together.
