I saw the CBS TV movie last night on the life and times
of the Manson Family.
If you don't believe in evil, you will be persuaded after
seeing that show.
That Manson guy is scary; not just because he's a wild-haired,
wild-eyed [at times] a ranting incoherent leader of a murderous group;
but 0because he at times could come across as a caring [superficially so]
and encouraging personality [to the down-and-out].
And at times he was not only crafty, but highly-intelligent, erudite
and articulate....Scary.
Yes!...He twisted and perverted the Bible to his own ends,
teaching that the 'Beatles' were the 'four angels' mentioned in
Revelation 9...He even claimed that the Beatle's tune, "Revolution 9",
was a cryptic variation of Revelation 9.
He also twisted the ethical values of his followers to deny the well-known principles of "Right and Wrong".

Preposterous and sad.
Everyone should be concerned that someday a well-dressed, well-educated
charismatic political-figure [either in Europe or America] could emerge harboring similar sentiments to Manson's and intending to implement
those sentiments using a crypto-agenda on a MUCH LARGER and WIDESPREAD scale.
[It's happened before!...Remember European history from 1804, and 1933?
Or what happened in the state of Louisiana before 1935?]
Such a charismatic, highy-intelligent person, however superficially charming, would be the ultimitate in demagogues. Because we live in the
nuclear age.
