This is about last week's murder (note: NOT 'execution') in Iraq.

I know I'm a bit late, but had decided not to respond/get involved. But the pain of witnessing hasn't diminished, but actually is worse, probably because there's no honest way to personally deal with it and resolve it. You can go hysterical, go nuts with conspiracies, become even more hard-line, or say nothing - but we are surely all personally affected in the medium and long-term, as well as immediately. So I want to get this off my chest.

To those individuals who immediately used this for political point-scoring (eg 'his head is in your lap'): go and fuck yourself big time. I'm sure you know how. - Oh, and get the hell out of this board, permanently. There are heaps of bullshit trash blog sites out there which you could inhabit and feed off like dung beetles in heaven.

To Robert-the-moderator: please consider this as a request. Block the bastards (if that's technically possible). You are kind and tolerant - but we need to draw the line, or make a fence. If we Zoners were physically together (say at a party), we'd be asking these guys to leave. (Note: after which, we would surely continue our mad and raucous political arguments as before. We need to get rid of the 'trollers', not the dissenters)

To those suggesting Mossad-type conspiracy theories: you should get a physical checkup. Didn't the Aliens get around to removing their shiny rectal probes after examining you? - Oh, I see now - they were in too much of a hurry to return to their black helicopters. Well sorry, that's no excuse. You are on dangerous ground here. Think again before pushing this vicious drivel next time.

To Tom: I am uncomfortable with you having posted a link to the video. But no more than that - I realize you advocate free speech (so do I), and are a net-trawler too. But I feel we could have done without it. (I have not viewed it, but did unfortunately see some stills). OTOH Tom, I appreciated the calming and sensible tone of some of your responses - just what the doctor ordered. (I *am* getting worried about some of your ideas and occasional militaristic posturings, but you showed humanity and good sense here.)
