When it happened the first time in Afghanistan, I had the same reaction that DFM had this time- they died from their own stupidity. This time its different. The mission in Afghanistan was not only to sterilize a terrorist breading ground but also to punish. Even though we fought for the security of our country, I think less was at stake.

Now we are redefining what it means to be American.

If you accept that our mission in Iraq is a noble one to establish democracy and give Iraqis a life free from Saddam, then our actions must be fitting of nobility. We at least need to ID a target before we start shooting.

In my opinion after reading all I could last night and this morning, this will be another massacre. I hope I'm wrong.

The columniation of Abu Graib, Nick Berg, Palestinian Demonstrators, Wedding Party, and now more pictures of US soldiers posing with a dead Iraqi like a trophy buck- is not an easy thing to handle. I think I know how Bowser felt the first time.
