I saw the first released Star Wars in the theaters back in 1977. Since then, I have seen them all, even the re-mastered ones, in the theater. The last one released I missed in the theater(Had a new baby in the house) so I saw it on DVD. Of the three new Star Wars, that one was the best IMO, but none of the new ones compete with the old three.

The first Star Wars (IV) was the best followed by Return on the Jedi. The Empire Strikes back is good, but it does can not stand on its own. It is a transitional film between the first movie and Return of the Jedi.

The new three are entertaining, but they have a ‘silly’ feel to them. I feel they could have been much better considering the story line and resources available.
