Name search

I did the obvious and searched on my own name. I was intrigued to see that it came up with the Robert Shepherd who's Chief Information Officers at the Department of Homeland Security. (No, that's not me, really, I promise.) He gave to Bush--now there's a man who knows which side of his bread the butter's on!

In fact, Bob gave the limit, $2,000, and that strikes me as a lot of money for a civil servant. It might be fun to do a search on the top couple of grades of Federal employees, to find out how many are showing dere appreciation to Da Boss in a meaningful way...if youse knows what I mean...

I tried to search for Tom, but darn, I guess too many other people had the same idea, because I got an error message saying that there were too many connections and they couldn't process my request.

No problem with other searches, like "George Bush". George H.W. Bush gave $2,000 to his boy, and listed his occupation as "Retired". Can't fault his modesty. Maybe after November Dubya will inherit the family tile "George Bush, Retired"

Ha ha HA! No sign of Jeb or Neal Bush...I guess big brother's on his own this year. Though I'll bet Jeb will make a crucial nonmonetary contribution this time around, just like 2000.

Hey, I got through on the Tom Brosz line finally, just now. And guess what? Tom hasn't put his money where his mouth is!

Hey, this is fun: FrankC gave $250 to Kerry. Now that one came as a surprise.

Check this out: Barbra Streisand gave to every Democratic candidate, but only $1,000 each. What a tightwad!

And Bill Gates has learned the painful lesson to grease the palms of politicians: $2,000 to Bush.

Hugh Hefner's a Kerry fan--must've seen that picture of Alexandra. Hubba hubba!

Well,I could go on for hours, millions of names to try, but that's enough for now. Thanks for a good time, Steve.
