True: lethal injection and electrocution, which we practice here, would be much more humane.

How about prisoners who are held interminably, charged with nothing, for as long as we want?
If we're going to get upset over justice as exercised by other nations, we had better start looking seriously at our own exercise of justice upon other nations' citizens.
