Next, you know, they'll be double-daring the US, and when we don't follow through, they'll triple-dare us.

The US will be the laughing-stock of the entire world. The dollar would fall in value, Americans would be less safe, and next thing you know, some other country would want to dare us.

And then double-dare us, and escalate all the way to where the US would be considered a pansy nation, unwilling to accept any challenges. A "paper tiger", an appeasing pleaser, doing what we had to get along with other countries. We'd get no respect, just affection, and what can you buy with affection?

Gotta invade.

Besides, Iran is right between our other two properties, and it would be such a nice fit.
