hey, I don't want them drilling for oil in the Gulf either. Florida has an economy that is dependent on tourism and one of the last things we need is an oil spill to screw up our beaches.

FYI, oil spills from tankers in and out of Port Everglades is a major expense item in keeping the beaches of FT. Lauderdale accessible to tourists. Every life guard stand keeps material to clean up the tar accumulation that is often dropped off from shipping to wash up and accumulate on the beaches.

Drilling in the Gulf? I certainly hope not----ever. The economic risk is too great and the benefit too small.
