It's that new millennial math.

Show me the footage on the video of the attack. Funny there’s not one foot of curious taping of the choppers that circled the party “for hours” before the assault.

Now, for a real “educated guess” (your own personal conspiracy theory if you like), one that will likely piss a lot of people here off -- and if true, you may be assured it will piss me off as well:

Someone misread a map. This, with the GPS tech that chopper-wars live by today, would be the major error of the year. The target was picked (erroneously) and hit, with surgical precision. Discovering the error in the morning light, the command calls their people together, a hasty cover is built, and they disburse into the desert, likely in several directions.

If true, it will come to light. Hasty covers have a tendency of blowing away, and often under very light questioning.
