Lou Dobbs is about the only reporter left with guts enough to even come close to telling it like it is, and I'm just waiting for him to either burn out or be shut up.

This is a g*d d*mn 'efing mess, and the Palestinian-Israeli conflict lies at the heart of it. If Bush Jr had of waited for UN approval, then we would not be in this mess today, desperately searching for and trying to implement an exit strategy - but the "neoconservatives" ( and I use the term only with quotes) did not want it...

Over 130,000 troops deployed, and "the media" fails to cover the President's speech... Agree or no, the public shoud be hearing it straight from him, and not just clips of it carefuly run through their their filters, along with all of their self proclaimed "experts"... I'm fed up with the spin, and the reporting on the spin, in place of reporting - Just the facts, please, and let me make my own mind up...

It used to be that the FCC could take away a broadcaster's license for an abuse like this of the public's trust as well as the abuse of the public's airwaves... At least they would get a big fine, and there was a mechanism to protest such abuses... I'd love to see ABC, NBC, CBS AND FOX all hit with fines commensurate with their revenues...

We have 2 carrier groups headed towards Taiwan, and our media fails to cover it. As far as oil and our economy go, we live in some kind of fairy land, adopting whatever kind of fantasy happens to support our desires for the day.... f***. let's not upset anyone...

Then there's still the Office of Special Plans scandal, and despite "the media's" reluctance to report it, it is simply not going to go away...

I wish Bush Jr the best of luck in trying to get his exit plan, or any exit plan, implemented... Maybe the Egyptians and Indonesians will help us out of this mess...
