For the first time in my memory, "we" are- the bad guys.

How long is your memory? This is all an almost complete rewind of how the Left worked Vietnam. When they were done back then, you would have thought there was no greater monster striding the Earth than the United States, and the troops in Vietnam were the minions of evil. William Calley WAS the American soldier. Ask a Vietnam veteran about it sometime.

There was actual partying at my university when the helicopters fled Saigon. The Left wants that back again, so bad they can taste it.

Or maybe you remember the Gulf War, and how the American monsters inflicted the "Highway of Death" on the poor, pathetic, fleeing Iraqi army?

For that matter, if we had the same kind of media access for war during WWII that we have now, some of the less-than-proud moments of our troops in Europe and the Pacific would not have gone over so well either.

The anti-war people are using the same tactics, and even some of the same scripts, as they've used for almost every military action the U.S. has ever taken. Don't fall for it.
