Bin Laden and other terrorist heads know that most American soldiers simply don't fit with the fundamentalist, sexually repressed life they wish to impose on the world. At the same time they know full well that those same military personnel and that inevitable clash of society they bring help them to constantly refill their terrorist ranks.

True, as far as it goes, but remember, we didn't have soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan when the planes hit the Twin Towers.

The radical fundamentalist Islamists would be furious with America and the West if we had no troops overseas at all. Our television broadcasts, books, movies, and other worldwide cultural influences would be enough to piss them off. At some point, it has to be realized that coexistence is not in their game plan.

Actually, our troops over there have been bending over backwards to try not to culturally offend. We are losing troops right now to avoid wrecking mosques being used as forts by the enemy.
