Here are two websites that have these annoying web menus:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com

http://www.ethnologue.com/

If you let your mouse pointer hover over the menu, a new menu will (eventually) pop up. The problem is, when the webpage is downloading, sometimes it will hang, waiting for this unseen menu to initialize (or perhaps download I'm not sure).

On the MSNBC website I can't do anything until this stupid menu is finished doing its thing. I can't even scroll down the page or back out of the website because everything is frozen.

On the ethnologue website, every link I click it has to re-load the same stupid menus across the top. The problem is: there are alot of frigging links! Not only is the website slow to access, but eventually my computer will slow down and crash because of these pop-up menus having to be re-load all the time.

This sucks. What should I do?
