What was founded on lies and deception, what was founded in greed, what was founded in revenge, cannot come to any good.

The issue isn't "defeat". The issue is to do no more evil. To cause no more misery. To spawn no more terrorists.

To make the world safer for Americans and other human beings.

No, I wish it could be "win", or "lose". But that's never been the issue.

The issue is to limit Man's unhumanity to Man, to realize that absolutely none of the Iraqis being tortured flew a plane into the WTC, than no Iraqi flew into WTC, and that the coddled Saudis did.

Fly airplanes into WTC.

And, after all the misery, America is less safe, more people hate us, and none of the folks who so unfairly died in WTC have been brought back to life.

"Defeat". If it were just "defeat" it would be easy.
