The Salaam Pak issue, at least that related to any possible connection with 9/11, was largely based on defector testimony. In light of recent CIA doubts on defector testimony, this needs to be re-evaluated.
However, there was enough found when the site was captured to indicate that it was a military training site of some kind. Several scenarios could account for this, not all of them terrorism.
I have collected a lot of evidence on Iraqi terror links, enough to convince me that Sadaam was cooperating with various terrorist movements. I do not consider Salaam Pak to be a prime piece of evidence any more, although before the war this was not as cut-and-dried. Nor have I found anything that strongly connects Iraq specifically to 9/11. There is actually more circumstantial evidence that Iraq had something to do with the first WTC bombing than with the second attack.
