I'm wondering if the Democrats really think they can hang the tattered remains of "the economy sucks" on gasoline prices. The last poll I saw, only 5 percent of respondents blamed Bush for the high gas prices.
And the Democrats are going to have a tough time convincing people that their active hostility toward the oil industry at all levels from exploration to production is compatible with ensuring the American supply.
