We have been where you came from.
Lezee, you started out with a B.S.? Well we know what B.S. is, there is a lot of it spread around here.
Next you got your M.S. That has to be just more of the same.
And finally, you were elevated to your Phd. Well, assuming you stayed in field, that was your original B.S., only Piled Higher and Deeper.
If you weren't so deep in your B.S. you might realize that the public education you so denigrate created this country by giving the US the most highly educated labor force in the world, thus allowing our fantastic production results during that phase of the modern industrial period we call the run-up to WWII.
Keep in mind, at the bombing of Pearl, the US was number 12 on the list of world industrial power and production. By the time we bombed Hiroshima the US was (and still is) the number 1 most productive nation on earth.
We owe our ability to have made that quantum leap not just to our Phd's, but to the public education system that made our workers able to go in to new territory and adapt to unfamiliar production techniques. And, as an aside, I would like to mention, most of these worker during WWII were women.
If your erudition might permit, you might connect that only in the US was public education available to women?
