If Osama bin Laden had been in New Jersey, like most of the World Trade Center bombers, I dare say our job would have been a lot easier. Having the 9/11 terrorists alive and in custody instead of having been blown to molecules probably would have been useful too.
The Millennium Plot was uncovered through sheer luck. The first World Trade Center bomber was caught because he was trying to get the deposit back on the truck in New Jersey.
If you had a way of trotting into eastern Afghanistan and reading Osama his rights, please let the rest of us in on it.
