Exactly what kind of inputs are we talking about for the card?
What are you going to use 60 gigs on a security system for? Are you trying to store video?
Wireless security cameras are available at most electronics stores. The output from the wireless receiver plugs into a normal video input on a TV or other device. I've got one mounted outside my garage. The kicker is that both the camera and the receiver need local power. They come with 110 to DC adapters. The other problem is range. I doubt they would work over more than fifty feet, but then I don't think standard wi-fi frequencies would carry much further.
Fry's has some cool cameras (not wireless, or at least they weren't last time I looked) that work in complete darkness, with a little ring of IR lights around the lens to invisibly illuminate the target.
There are wireless mice and keyboards, but I don't think any of them are designed to work farther than across a room.
The network I'm using at home is a combination of an Apple AirPort and Ethernet cables. I have yet to successfully get my PC laptop to talk to the AirPort. The Macs have no problems of course.
