I went with low expectations and actually liked it. The casting was pretty good. Acting not bad. Storyline not true to the Illiad but close. It did say at the end "inspired by the Illiad" so it didn't have to be exact. Peter O'Toole did an excellent King Priam who let his religious fanatcism spell Troy's doom. Eric Bana played Hector well as a tourtured soul who didn't want the war but did his duty. Brad Pitt was a good Achilles and I really liked that kill move he used on opponents. Diane Kruger was looking extremely hot as Helen.

Not the best movie ever made by any strech but still a pretty good flic. On a scale of 1 to 10: 7.5
