re: HST saw the Trifid Nebula!
Anyone else notice the Space Telescope Science Institute has started banging out beautiful press release images on something approaching a weekly basis ever since Sean O'Keefe announced the cancellation of the servicing mission.
There pushing out many many more releases since that announcement than they did before - quite obviously in an attempt to gain public support for a servicing mission, and in doing so, to keep their job :D
