Caught on CBS morning show today. They were doing a piece on the love that Ron and Nancy had for each other and some love letters that he and she wrote.

One of the examples was a note he wrote in his first term, I believe. The note said something to the effect that "I am either in (pick three cities) depending on when you read this. I will be home soon and every minute I am away from you is a minute too long." The note was signed Ronnie I believe but it also included a charicature drawing of himself surrounded by hearts.

I am not making fun of Reagan for writing such but I just wondered, is there anyone here that has similar romance in their soul.

I wrote thr odd love letter in my time but they were long ago and never included cartoon renderings and hearts. If I wrote something like that to Alice she would have me committed.

Is the ability to shamelessly express one's self like this a quality of greatness or is it a random gift (curse). :)
