Language not that effective a barrier........

Language barriers have not been historically an effective barrier to pregnancy and definitely not to sexual experimentation and enjoyment.

Might I direct you to the concept known as convergence theory. This theory has a provable premise by the observation of many events over a great period of time.

The short and sweet of it is that success will be emulated. An appendage to this is "The Hundredth Monkey Effect." When any music, style, art, or whatever is a success in one culture or area other cultures will tend to adopt it and coopt it for their own use. A good example of this would be all of the Christian holidays were coopted from pagan rituals and celebrations.

Italian style finds expression in clothing and cars. French cooking is the standard in much of the world, etc.

Point is, that China is in a position to produce cars cheaper than the US, they will do so, and are we going to protect our industry or are we going to abandon it with our present corporations buying into partnerships with Chinese producers to maintain their profits by not producing? This strategy might be ok for Ford, but it is not so hot for the Ford worker, or the hundreds of businesses that depend on basic industry to sell their services to.
