The arrest of an Al Qaida trained man who planned to blow up
some shopping mall in Columbus, Ohio is gratifying.
The FBI deserve credit for that success.
Fortunately, it appears that the terrorist had no detailed plans
worked out, and no explosives were found on his premises.
It appears the guy was a "lone wolf"; no evidence that he
belonged to a terrorist cell has emerged.
But it brings up a disturbing question?....
Are the Al Qaida seeking out smaller, more vulnerable communities in the USA to attack?
If so...that would it more personal for most of you, because you cannot take comfort in the possibility that any such future attacks will "happen elsewhere"...they can happen uncomfortably close.
