If you really buy into the "democracy" bit.
>"By helping the rise of democracy in Iraq and Afghanistan and throughout the world, you are giving people an alternative to bitterness and hatred".(GWB)

Yeah, but you gotta search their homes indiscriminately, lob missiles and tanks into their neighbourhood in case any of their countrymen are objecting to the occupation, hold them incommunicado naked on boxes, with hoods on their heads on stack them up like logs naked on top of each other, beat them up a little, call THEM terrorists in their own homeland.....oh yeah.
This is democracy at it's finest.

GWB needed his head examined BEFORE this war, and he still needs it examined after. You can't win hearts and minds looking only at the defense and oil contracts, and nothing else. Hey, the WMD lie didn't fly. Whether it was Tenet or Chalabi's fault; you don't send the world's greatest army into a foreign land that refuses democracy and always has, because you think it's a noble thing to do.

Bush reminds me of a fire and brimstone preacher. With a direct line to God. However, I think his God's about to let him down. Jim Baker anyone?
