I admit (at last) I don't know how to deal with this sort of thing - I tried to give him a 'virtual thrashing' but that probably had little effect (other than me venting a lot of steam). Maybe he should just be ignored - I believe some people follow this way. OTOH a post like yours is a service for other readers who might want to know what this unpleasantness is all about. Also (even if he doesn't listen) you are declaring your principles here, which is important. - Probably we are better off keeping to these sorts of well-written replies, rather than more visceral & verbal abuse (say, of my flame for instance).
