You seem to be missing an important aspect: it's being investigated and if the facts warrant it, it will be prosecuted- rather than ignored or tolerated and/or cheered on by a mob.

I suppose you are also under the delusion, that only crimes which are investigated and reported exist, and that in areas in which they aren't being investigated and reported they do not exist.

For instance, I wonder if you imagine that only the US miltary manages to accidentally kill it's own soldiers and that other with armies of other countries they are somehow magically better at avoiding this? And I suppose you think all these murderous terrorists are never going to murder each other?
