Between June/28th and July/04, Cassini will have priority with JPL's DSN.

It's deepspace data "firehose" time again!...
Well...at least starting near the end of this month.
I think both Spirit & Opportunity [and their JPL teams] maybe given a brief
well-earned hiatus. Cassini may tie up JPL's DSN during these coming days.

How many megabytes of data did the Voyagers and Pioneer 10 & PVO
downlink in 1979?...I'm sure It wasn't a large quantity by tioday's standards.
And mercifully most of the data collected by the Voyagers and Pioneer 10 during their flybys in 1979 was bulk transmitted over a period of a few weeks.

Today's deep-space missions MUST SURELY transmit megabytes worth of data every day by comparison, and have done so for the past few months.
And between June 28 & July 04, Cassini may transmit hundreds of megabytes, or even a few gigabytes worth of data...A veritable firehose of info.
I'm amazed that JPL's DSN can handle it all.
