You certainly sound like a junior. How you arrive at the fact that anyone who goes to see a documentary is helping Al Queda needs to re-examine what he knows. In your case, I'd say "very little."
People who sit on the sidelines and shout the party line without having a CLUE as to what the real issues are ignorant of the facts. Young people like you with a fixed belief and attack system without LEARNING all the positions of a problem, are part of the problem themselves.
