Michael Moore's film is the usual collection of blatant lies and distortions. But what is getting it the bad reviews is that it doesn't even hold together well as propaganda.
This movie will appeal to those who stopped thinking with their forebrains a long time ago. The kind of people who are impressed by plays on their emotions, regardless of any reflection of fact. Years ago these people would have been swaying blissfully to the music in the mud of Woodstock, thinking they were at the vanguard of the future.
An equivalent on the Right might be a fervent fan of Michael Savage or someone like him, who values emotion and rants over accuracy. The difference is that Moore is currently a god to the cultural elite, winning Oscars, other film awards, cushy spots as an eminent speaker, and the adulation of much of the media and the pundits.
Savage is not.
