I apologize in advance for not being nearly as well-informed as you and S are about this particular take on the events. Please be assured I'm not trying in any way to diminish the viewpoint you share.

One of the quotes you offer suggests that the hijackers were serving as drug-runners for someone big (or did I misinterpret?). Does the "big picture" go beyond that? I guess what I'm asking is, when you get to the top--wherever that might be--what do you find? Are we talking about an administration complicit with the terrorists in order to "justify" their war? Did they have prior knowledge of the attacks, and permit them to occur so they could scare the freedom out of Americans? Sometimes, the suggestion seems to be that the supposed hijackers were in fact just scapegoats, and the planes were flown by others. Can we reasonably speculate about who those others might have been?

I'm just trying to get a handle on where this path that you've choosen to explore might ultimately lead (I know, I know...I should get off my duff and do the legwork myself. I'm hoping you'll lend me the benefit of your extensive research).
