Boy, was I hoping for this. The science is wonderful but I've been dying with that rover sitting at the base of a hill just crying out to be climbed. It's my prediction that the panorama shots from the top of that hill will eventually end up as famous and as important to the future of our exploration of the planets as the picture of Buzz Aldrin holding the flag on the moon was to the the manned lunar program back then. We need those dazzling, jaw-dropping images to keep the public pumped just as we need the science hinting of Martian oceans.
Let's see, a month or so to top the hill, few more weeks to create the mother of all color pans, followed by a close flyby of Titan and stunning pictures in August and then a potential mind-blowing descent to its surface in December. Could be a banner year for JPL and NASA to capture the public's interest.

Knew those engineers were also tourists
